Engaging in New York City, the project set to explore how we design vertical interventions while responding to the urban context. We set to investigate the opportunity of creating more dynamic and engaging public spaces and environments in both the towers themselves but also in the hinge of how they expand into and out of the ground plane. The exploration into how we can move the public realm up off the street and into more elevated positions helped mold the spaces we created in the towers.
